Why the asymmetry for shock placement?
Why are the shocks on the rear suspension facing different directions?
I was looking at it the other day wondering what the significance would be. There must be a reason they did it that way, but I can't think of why. It can't be because of space, it seems like there's plenty under there.
When installing aftermarket shocks, or when upgrading to, say a 10 leaf pack and some coil-overs, do you mount those shocks opposing as well? When I see super high performance trucks, it seems like everything is symmetrical.
