I find it extremely odd that my 1995 Hardbody comes with a H233B rear axle and a R200A front axle, where my 2005 Frontier comes with a C200K rear and R180 front.

My 2005 Frontier's V6 (VQ40DE) leaves my 1995 Hardbody's V6 (VG30E) in the dust.

6 speed and Pro-4X's come with a Dana 44 rear. For 99% of the population, all of the differentials are strong enough. No stronger or weaker than what Toyota and GM is putting in their trucks.

Even the Dana 44 is a weaker axle than the H233B.

The H233B had a nice run from the Hardbody and Pathfinder to the first gen Frontier and Xterra. Along with the R200A. The R180 is considerably lighter than the R200A.
