Anyone ever had this problem where you are slowing down just below 15 mph and then when you step on the accelerator and pass 15 miles an hour there is a hesitation and jerking before changing the next gear. Any solution to this?

Some kid at jiffy lube did it a few months ago.

If fuel filter is new, then the only thing I can think of is to check your ATF/gear oil level.

I've seen many vehicles hesitate during acceleration, then "jerk" or "surge" once they get to a different RPM due to bad spark plugs - hard to diagnose your specific problem on here, but if it feels like it looses some power or is running on less than all cylinders, then I would suggest checking out your spark plugs and wires. I have seen cracked spark-plug tubes cause a hesitation/shuddering as well because the spark escapes to the head instead of the plug.
