Hi,
I have a 2004 Frontier crew cab, and when I turn the wheel all the way to the right or left, I get a hard clicking sound coming from under the truck. Just wondering if anyone with more car/truck knowledge than myself (so pretty much anyone) could give me an idea as to what the problem may be? I appreciate any feedback

I have heard the same noise...but only with hard turns and not that often...no clue what it is either...

Sounds like CV joints gone bad to me... I assume these are both 4x4. Any rips in the boots?

i took it in and explained the noise, and they said it's a "stopper" and that all trucks have them. To let you know not to turn the wheel that far. I have never heard of this, but this is my first truck. Am I that stupid? Does anyone know about this?

I had the same issue with my LE. I took it to the dealer and they said a boot under the shock needs to be replaced. They have one on order for me now. Ok to drive until fixed, but I would get it fixed!
