So I am looking at the rugged rocks wheel spacers. has any one put the 2" spacers on the front of their fronty? I am just wondering if there will be any steering issues afterwards. The entire steering system is stock.

I am also planning on putting the rugged rocks headers on. has anyone swapped headers on an SC fronty? I talked with AC and they said they have sold their so SC owners with no issues. I am just wondering about the CEL as that is why I need to replace the exhaust manifold gaskets...

Thanks

Just go for it. I had 1.5" spacers on my truck for a bout a year and the tires scrubbed pretty good but I didnt notice much extra wear and beat on it and never broke anything.

We ran 1.5" spacers on our first gen, some people do run 2" spacers. Personally I think 2" is a bit much but there is nothing wrong with them. Steve at Rugged Rocks will hook you up. If you have any questions about them he will answer them - go to the contact us page on his site or join up and post on the forum page.

I have had bolt on 1.5 inch spacers for over a year ,and about 10k miles with no problems at all.
Tires are wearing perfectly and the truck has never been aligned with 58k on it.

I ordered 2 sets of them from Rugged Rocks Off Road and a set of headers. I can't wait to get them. I will post results when I get them installed.

I can't decide if I am going to install the headers myself or not. It can't be too hard except for them limited room in the engine comaprtment. I will let you know.

I put my AC headers on a few weeks ago. No problems here. Fitment was great, no ticking, no leaking. Increase in Low and mid range torque. Not to mention they sound good. I'm probably gonna swap them out for some Doug Thorley's when I get done building the suspension. They say you need 2 CELs...1 for each header. I only used one...on the driver's side. The headers they make are the same for both S/C and NA. All I did was plug the ERG hole (for S/C models) on the driver's side header with a steel threaded plug and some NeverSeize lube on the threads incase I need to remove it. If you want take a look at my build thread and you can see the threaded plug and the CEL on the driver's side. BTW...I have yet to throw a code since I put them on.

thanks for the responce and I will read your build thread. I didn't buy the CELs. I really don't know what I am doing outside of theory. I can build a Harley form the frame up but there is too much computer junk on vehicles today.
I was assmuning that the O2 sensors will bolt right into Doug Thorley's headers and not need and CEL eliminators. I don't know if that is true or not. I just know I have an exhaust manifold gasket that needs replacing and I can't see just replacing that without putting headers on.
