Anyone use them to push the wheels out slightly? Which ones? Which work on a completely stock (no lift, no leveling) truck?

Hoping to push tires slightly out to give it an even more aggressive look after new Wrangler Duratec installed (stock size).

I seem to recall that some tire stores will not perform rotations when these are installed. Anyone corroborate?
~ IFF so, then does one lose any kind of tire warranties (prorated or otherwise) if unable to prove regular rotations?

I had 1.5" spacers with 2" lift on 265/75R16 tires and they rubbed a little on full lock turns on the rear corners of the fenders. I did the melt job and still had rub to which I would have needed to grind off the fender corners behind the plastic fender liner. I pulled them as sold them, to me the aggressive stance was not worth taking a grinder to the truck...

That solves it for me then, as I have no desire (nor, frankly, ability) to start grinding down fenders. I think my next mod will be a lift or level, or both. I just stopped by a shop and I was very pleasantly surprised on the cost of each, and how little difference there was between just going with the level or going both front and back lift. Maybe a Christmas present to myself.

Do you have the means to do the lift yourself? I'm 16, no help from parents, never worked on vehicles before and did front spacers and rear shackles in one night.

The wheel spacers, yes. The lift, I probably have the means, but don't really have the desire. I'd rather pay someone to ensure it is done correctly. The labor to install the front spacer (leveling kit) and the rear lift is only about $350...totally worth it to have someone do it for me.

Anyone can "restore" a vehicle. It takes a real man to cut one up!

Seriously the grinding that needs to be done is not on the rear corners of the fenders. It's actually the seam that's under your plastic liners. As long as you paint the area afterwards, you'll be fine.

Good luck and post pics in the general disc section.

No. You need a 3”+ lift to run 285’s

I’m running a 2.5” rough country strut spacer and 1.5” extended rear leaf shackles I was able to trim the fender liner with a box cutter and grind down the pinch weld on the fender I’m clearing 285/75/16 with no issues
