I've read about 4 or 5 pages into this forum's wheel and tire page. I have seen a lot of talk about tires, brakes, what rims to get and a lot of general discussion. Some were even about wheel spacers and offsets.

I have a similar question, and I can't believe I haven't seen it already.

Since the 05+ Frontiers come with a somewhat "UNIQUE" bolt pattern (6 x 4.5), I find it very difficult to find wheels. Even used ones are very difficult to find. It's basically us and the Durango. But, there are SOOOOOO man 6 x 5.5 wheels out there. Lots of sizes to choose from, starting from 15" wheels (which wouldn't fit, but still, they're out there).

Has anyone used wheel adapters (not spacers, adapters)? Has anyone had to convert their 6 x 4.5 to something like 6 x 5.5 pattern?

Lemme know if you did, and if you like your decision. I'm running stock everything right now on a 2010 LE crew-cab 4X4 with the 18" wheels. Don't get me wrong, the wheels actually look good. But, eventually I'd like to get a 20" rim and would like to choose from a bigger variety.

Thanks in advance, you guys...

oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR

They where on the truck when I bought it. Had a nasty vibration at highway speeds. Found 2 rims where bent to holy hell. So I bought a set of ProComp 6x4.5 rims to replace them. No real reason why I took them off. Truck handled great and had a nice stance to it. Located in the Poughkeepsie area.

Thanks for the info on the spacers.
