Hi all, hope this is the right forum, and apologies on the long post.
I am looking for a very specific model of Frontier. I want a crew cab, 4wd, manual transmission, long bed. By long bed, I mean 6'+, I don't know if there are some models that are not quite 6' so wanted to make that clear (6' is important because I will put a camper shell on it and sometimes sleep in the back, and I am 5'9"
).
I know that they currently make one in the SE model (and in fact, AFAIK, it's the only current truck by any manufacturer that fits this bill). But I am not sure I can afford a new truck. So I am wondering what years this truck was made, what models, etc. For ex, I have seen older XE's that look like they may be what I am seeking, but I am not sure. I also think I have seen some beds listed as 5.75', which is close but would be just a little short (and I don't know if that was considered the "long bed" at some point).
Also, if anyone has any advice on how to go about finding a used truck that fits this criteria (search terms, places to search, etc), I'm all ears.
Thanks!
