What would you do?

I have a 2005 Nismo 4x4 kc that needs a lift. I tried going the cheep rout with coil spacers up front and got pretty frustrated when i had to rip it all out because of UCA and coil bucket contact.

I want to spend around 1500 bucks and wheel the truck.

What would you do if you were in my situation?

How big were your spacers?

How big do you want to go?

Check out this!

If you want to spend around 1600, then I'd look at this. PRG

If you want to spend around 1000, then I'd look at this one. also PRG

The one for 1600 adds a little more lift and has UCA's and rear AAL Deavers. The other one comes with shackles or deavers and a 2.0 radflo. It adds up to 2.5''.

Personally, I'm on a budget. I'd go with the one for 1k. If you have the money, get the one with the UCA's, will be better for wheeling.

Icon coil overs with TC UCAs and the 4x4parts 3 pack AAL
prg.
titan suspension swap , you can get away with stock uppers and lowers then you just need the extended axles and coilovers from Greg at PRG

with new coilovers , axles and arm your looking about 1500+
I have a 2005 KC with a Calmini 5 inch, plus PRG coilovers, and PRG rear add a leafs. People on here will tell you that the Calmoni is a garbage kit, but as long as you aren't doing crazy rock climbing you'll be fine. I have NEVER had a problem with it and 7.5 inches looks awesome. I off road all the time, and I go pretty hard too. So take a look at some of the pictures I have in my gallery to see what it looks like.
I'd go with what penski said and titan swap it. Solid lift right there

Titan swap sounds like the way to go. Except where do I get the longer axles? Prg has a package with everything but.
Phone Greg, they don't have everything listed on the site.

I'd say pay a little bit more now, then you'll have a nice setup and no worries for a long time. Wish I put the coilovers in from the get-go.
two words man to solve all your decision making problems. PRG PRODUCTS. Greg will give you excellent help and he knows a ton about these trucks.

I would go for a titan swap but it gets a little more involved and the wheels stick out, fenders, more rubbing, etc.

If not a titan swap definitely go for some shackles or aal in the rear with some builsteins and some type of 2.5 coilover in the front with a prg upper control arm.

Talk to greg at PRGPRODUCTS and he'll hook you up.
unless your pre running and cycling the shocks a lot no need for a 2.5 shock your more then fine with a 2in
I'd go this route, or PRG can't go wrong either way.
But in the rear I'd either build a custom pack or buy a new set from what I've seen our main leafs like to flatten AAL kits.
