Currently, my 2000 4x4 CC has the stock suspension and I've been tempted to upgrade to some HD Bilsteins while retaining the factory springs.
So, while I understand the stiffer compression and rebound valving will make the truck handle better on-road, it got me wondering if this is still an advantage for slow off-roading? I'm not talking about blazing through the desert, but rather slow, easy-going type of driving and maneuvering.
Would softer valving provide better articulation and actually more tire contact as terrain varies?
Thoughts?
