I have the king cab with the rear fold down seats . On the underneath of the passenger one there's plastic cover that I can unclip . What's it for ?

Not that side . The other side seat . That's folded up look at the bottom there's that plastic piece

I think that's the support for the bottom of the rear seat

It's for a kids booster seat or whatever they call them. I took it off because I'll never need it.

I believe it's for a car seat but look at your owners manual or online if you have none.

It flips out and 2 little legs flip out of it. It extends the length of the seat bottom so you can fit a car seat. I bought a 2nd so both of my back seats have one so i can haul my boys around.
About to get rid of at least one soon.
