What is BEST LIFT to add at least 3" of TRAVEL...

4020 Views 26 Replies 12 Participants Last post by  NCAlex
I'm looking for any kind of lift kit that will actually give me at least 2 inches or preferably 3 or more inches of wheel travel. Not just increase ride height, but actually increase A - Arm travel.

I would LIKE to increase it by at least 3". Any other lift options would be a bonus.

Does anyone know of a way to actually increase the overall travel for the Nissan Frontier? Are there any options?

Jordo what lights do you have on your truck and are they a full conversion kit with seperate lights or did it all come together? Cost? thanks
Stage 1: Coilovers - 8" of travel
Stage 2: Extended Coilovers and aftermarket control arms - 9" of travel
Stage 3: Titan Swap with extended coilovers and aftermarket Titan arms - 12" of travel
Stage 4: Titan mid travel kit - 15" of travel.

So what is the Titan mid travel kit and where can you get it and is stage 3 the prg kit that has the titan lowers with prg uppers?

3 can get from prg. the titan mid travel is literally a mid travel kit for the titan that will work on a frontier designed by mazzula that you can get 17in out of but i've heard that many people are having some binding issues at 15in with the ball joint. mustards builder will be putting out a kit that from what he says should be the same if not lower in price and have more travel with no binding

check out this page and the next of his build thread

Greg (PRG) sells the Titan Mid Travel set up; PRG Titan Mid-Travel. Although, I am pretty sure the pricing has changed as material costs have gone up quite a bit.

A standard "Titan Swap" is roughly 3" wider than a stock Frontier, the "Titan Mid-Travel" is closer to 6" wider per side than the stock frontier. To run the "mid-travel" set up will require shocks hoops, longer coilovers, and fiberglass fenders.

Another ? Does it mean that any titan mid travel/long travel kit fit the frontier.

Yes, one in the same. I have been running it for about 2 years now and have been very happy with it.

In theory; assuming the kit is using stock pivot points you should be able to bolt up the arms. But it's not as simple as that; there is a lot of fabrication involved... things will definitely need to be cut and moved around in the engine bay.
So where did you get that kit from and what else would you need to complete the build

How can I find more pics of your truck on here
