which tubing did you go with? I love my WK sliders! I added grip tape to mine as they are HELLA slippery when wet... used this here:
it was enough to do both sides and the kickout.... these things protected me from a drugged up guy who ran into my truck... if it wasn't for these, my entire side of the truck would have been wiped out.... great stuff, worth every penny!!

Working on better RTT brackets, tunnel and awning mount brackets today. Also laying out all auxiliary lighting and getting a plan for the wiring of that. Total of 5 lights, one scene/cargo light on each side of the truck, two driving combo lights, and one spot in the center. All being mounted in my roof rack.

Installed pretty straight forward. Have to drill 6 holes in the frame on each side. Fortunately, I was able to use the asfir skid plate cross member as the backing plate on the middle mount. I was relieved I didn't have to cut stuff up to make the two work together.

No pics, but decided to just rattle-can the custom hitch. I might later add on to it so I didn't want to go through the expense and aggravation of powdercoating it when I might end up having to grind the surface off to weld more material on.

Went with the $10.99/can separate primer and paint, just a satin black for the latter. Figured the difference in price between the cheap paint and the expensive paint wasn't enough to bother about and if I don't end up adding to it then the expensive paint might hold up for the long term better.

So primered it yesterday afternoon, then after the primer flashed-over but before it had completely dried I put on the first coat of paint. Then recoated again this afternoon. I might do a third coat to use up the paint, haven't decided. Storing used aerosol cans for the long term seems fairly hit-or-miss.

I wouldn't use the quick oil change businesses either.
I did once after my knee surgery because I couldn't do it myself and then when I could, I had to use a 1/2" breaker bar to get the drain plug loose,

I finished up my underhood mount of a Viair 88p compressor. Next up is a HAM radio.

This is based around the one that @IAm_Not_Lost did here. Many thanks to him for blazing this trail!

Got the awning brackets made and awning mounted. Also got the tunnel entry mounting done. Plan for lighting is also in motion. Not a bad day, ended with a couple All Day IPAs and a Oliva box press.

This setup will be a definite game changer coming from our Oztent.

Belt and belt tensioner on my 2016 4.0 @82k miles. Could no longer stand the squeak from the OEM tensioner on the cold/wet mornings.

Finished installing backup camera on my Frontier today. Mounted camera under tailgate handle, didn't like that location so i moved it to the license plate. Plug and play is what the ad stated. Three phone call to technical support and it works now. It was a big pain in the a$$ but got it done. Like i stated in one of my posts, it fights me to the bitter end. Yes just one nut or bolt or wire connection or whatever.
