Hi everyone,
Greetings from chilly Long Island. The name is John and this is my first Nissan. I've owned and maintained myself many different brands of all styles and ages. A friend gave me a 99 XE 2wd 4 banger because he didn't want to foot the bill for a heater core change. I'm here to learn, and share what I learn, just I have done in TDi Club, Duramax forums, e46 fanatics, etc. Gotta go, much to learn.

The 495 parking lot lol I saw the Long Island welcome from a former and just had to reply. Yeah know it is chilly there still have family up there where about you guys from I lived in Mt.Sinai?. Sweet score on the pu I like the older body styles does it have the wheel well flares or no. Funny I also got my fronty from back on the island. I'll tell ya this is a great site to learn, ask and spend many many many $$$. I used it when I first got the pu to replace some stuff got me out TX and been using CF since

not sure on a 1st gen, but on the 2nd gen you have to pull out most of the (passenger) dash to change it out... It should be a good few days work as you pull it apart, document (for re-assy) and then get to do the actual fix... good luck. ::laugh::
