Very cool!
I will count myself as lucky to have caught SRV and his brother Jimmy perform together on the same stage while down at Padre Island for a Spring Break in the mid-80s. He was clearly among the best at shredding a guitar.

SRV was just cleaning up his act when he went down in that helicopter crash back in '90.
RIP SRV.

Been on a Pearl Jam kick lately... Heard a song on the radio a couple weeks ago and was like "Hunh, hadn't hear them in a while, maybe some more?" Good s**t... :)

Be into the better part of rock, modernized, and you have TCV.

Second album not even at this point as they all have their own projects for now, sigh.
Maybe with enough fan clamor they will produce a second.
I would be totally down, top ten album favorites at this point in my life.

I know I already toted their notes in this thread, BUT, if you haven't listened to them, give it a go.

How could you possibly go wrong liking rock with a former member of Zep with two hugely accomplished artists such as Dave Grohl and Josh Homme?

You don't like it, you get your money back, now go give it a listen already.

ToddG:
Them Crooked Vultures is played heavily in my current rotation of QOTSA and Faith no More. I read a quote recently where John Paul Jones told Dave Grohl that he was greatful to be a part of TCV, as he now had been a part of two incredible bands (or something to that extent). Fortunately the radio doesn't play TCV every other song as they do Zep (totally ruined that band for me as the radio is always on at work).
