It's a stock truck with no lift and I'm looking for a better ride than the stock Bilstein's. I hear conflicting stories about the 5100 series Bilstein's. 4Wheel Parts says it's for lifted trucks only, but Bilstein says it will work with the 0" lift setting. Either way still looking for a good pair of replacement shocks for around $400 or less. For those of you who have been through this, any advice would be appreciated.

The first thing we need clarification one is what do you now like about the OEM set-up? Is it too stiff or bouncy or what? This is needed before any recommendations are made.

Welcome to CF!

I'm looking for a more comfortable ride for sure but without scarficing good handling.
^It's kinda one way or the other... ride like a Buick and carve like a Vette?
What's your tire pressure?

Aside from spending $$$$ on new C/Os, you've got the best compromise.
