So back in the pre internet, late high school days around '89 or '90 or so, WeatherTech started advertising fancy floor mats in the back pages of Car & Driver and I told myself one day I'd order a set. Never got around to it, until this thread finally provided enough inertia for a trigger pull. Zero regrets, these things are awesome. The way the anchor holes have a thinner layer of rubber that you have to push the floor anchors through provides a really tight seal. Very cool. Aside from the material quality and the perfect fit and coverage, the most pleasant surprise after taking the rig for a spin was that replacing the carpeted floor mats that came with my truck with these harder ones actually changes the sound of the radio, for the better. Am in no way a car audio expert, but having a bit more of a hard surface and getting rid of a bit of carpeting made a noticeable difference in both the high and low frequencies of the radio. Was not expecting that removing that small of an amount of sound soaking carpet would make a difference. A bit pricey for floor mats? Yup. Worth it? Oh hell yes. Highly recommend the WeatherTech HP's.
