After a heavy rain or following a car wash I have a noise coming from my passanger "A" pillar as I drive. It does not last to long but dealership said this is normal and no repair is needed. Just following up to see if this is true. Any comments?

No water getting inside that I can see. Is there a drain tub in the plastic tray between the windshield and the hood? I had seen older vehicles that the drain clogged and had water inside this area

I firmly believe that you could take your truck to the dealership on fire and they would say that's normal...idiots.

That, to me, doesn't sound normal. Wouldn't that cause it to rust from the inside out?

I have the same problem

I could hear water sloshing around in my truck (2008 crew cab frontier 4x4) the other day as well. To me it sounded like it was behind/above the glove box area , but may have been the pillar.

Also got a few drips on the passengers feet not a lot. It was raining quite heavily , and the humidity very very high.

I put my hand under the glove box and the plastic was very cold to the touch. The drips seemed to be coming from higher in the dash than I could reach or see. The air conditioner at the time was set for fresh air, not re circulate. I was hoping it might be some sort of AC thing , not a leak .

I called the dealer and they said they were not familar with any ongoing lak issues

ANybody got similar problems or possible causes, any help would be appreciated. I would like to be armed with some knowledge before going to the dealership

There is a condensation drain on the firewall. Perhaps it's clogged. On my 2008 one time I had a bit of water dripping on to the passenger floor mat with A/C on in humid afternoon. Never happened again.

I have a hard time believing the water noise is normal, and even if it is common, I would think it should not be considered normal. Water and moisture hanging around anywhere means future corrosion problems, and in my case I'm getting some drips on the passenger floor mat, and there is no way that is "normal"

Now my service engine soon light is on.... Nothing worse than extra trips to the dealership

I hear a similar noise in my '06 and am not concerned. I figure it's rainwater that's entered the cabin air intake vents in front of the windshield and is draining out.
