Did this mod over the weekend. $98 shipped from Amazon.

This is definitely the best bang for the buck as there is noticeable increase in throttle response.

Mod is pretty easy but the bolts can be stubborn. My 02 sensors were also seized.

Yeah I have modded mine a bit as well, I am hoping ditching the cats will be just what I need to get the rest of the tone I want. Short of the Doug Thorley's anyway but I don't have $500 to throw at those anytime soon lol

After several months of debating, I finally pulled the trigger. $96 from Rockauto shipped. Should be here by the 22nd. Rockauto has treated me well in the past, so I'll continue to do my vehicle parts shopping with them. Plus they always include those cool magnets. I have a nice collection of them on my fridge so far. Hope these are everything they've been cracked up to be!

Bought the walker pipes finally, and my bolts were too rusted to remove with my hand tools. Ended up going to the muffler shop with the walker pipes and the guy just said jet me just cut out the cats and weld in a straight pipes. I ended up going this route. 90$ all said and done.

After struggling for hours.....I finally got mine in. My passengers side was the easier of the 2. The drivers side had some sort of metal ring up inside the primary, about 2 inches from the opening. Took me a while to figure out a way to remove it. I still need to install my new O2 sensors. The ones I received have the wrong plugs on them. Wont plug into the harness. I'm in the process of swapping over the plugs and extending the wiring for the drivers side. I finished swapping the plug for the passenger side late last night. The exhaust is almost to loud for me now. Anyway to tone it down? New muffler perhaps?

Quick question: my passengers side pipe looked pretty clean on the inside. My drivers side however, was coated in black sh!t. Is this carbon build up? What would be causing this? Everything seemed to be running fine. I had a rattle, but I thought it was the catalytic converter internals bouncing around.

At some point I'll make a video and post it up of my exhaust. I have DT headers, walker b-pipes, Flowmaster 60 series and a custom piece of tubing dumping it straight out in front the driver front tire. Sounds good, but LOUD.
An exhaust cutout? In front of the FRONT tire? Please do post this video

A/C's site states a 15% increase in HP. These S/C'ed trucks are "supposed" to have 210 HP stock. So if that claim holds true, that should increase HP to roughly 240. Add the Walker cat deletes (which I dont see any claim to HP increase) plus the cat back exhaust (which is rated for another 8-12% HP), we should, in theory, be able to achieve 260.78 HP. Plus the CAI is supposed to be good for another 5. So in all, 265.78HP? Thats if my calculator is working right this morning. Am I having unrealistic expectations?

Hey all, great stuff here. I have a question regarding my 2003 CC/SC AT Frontier. So I have a CAI, long tube headers, and the resistor ks mod, and my truck runs great. I also have a Gibson cat back system (2.5") ready to install. It is however, failing emissions here in the great state of Calirado. THe emission standards are so stringent these days that I believe the deletion of the primary cats due to the long headers has left the truck with insufficient catalytic processes. I think the sc would benefit from larger pipes from the headers down. What are the diameters of this system (I can't seem to search the Walker site)? Can I use these pipes and have a "larger capacity catalytic converters" fab'd in to get the converter capacity I need? Thanks,

jm

I just got finished installing my new B pipes that remove the secondary cats. I bought them from RockAuto. They are stock replacements from 99-00 V6 Frontiers and will bolt up to 01-04 perfectly. They cost me about $100 total shipped and took me about 2 hours to install. Here are the part #s:

Pass side - 53345
Driver side - 54338

You can go Walker Exhaust Solutions From The Industry Leader and cross reference your truck just to make sure they will fit.

I immediately noticed how much better my Magnaflow sounded as soon as I fired it up and call tell the truck is definatly breathing better. The I.D. of the pipe is the same as stock the piping is double walled with an air gap for an integrated heat shield. The appearance is factory and I had no problem hooking the O2 sensors back up.

If anyone is interested I will throw up some pics.

BTW, my truck is an 01 Desert Runner Auto.
Thank you I will check into that.

So did you use the Doug Thorlly headers with these pipes?
