I'm interested in the grille insert. Couple of questions
1 Site says fits 05-07. I thought the grille was the same until 09. Will this fit an 08?
2 OP, do you have any pics w/the inserts on the truck?
3 How does the insert secure to the grille? Looks like it wraps around the honeycomb portion.

 

1. Answer - You should be OK, the Street Scene site shows this Part# to be
good until the 08's, to be sure, your Grille should be the first type of grille the Frontiers came with.
The newer grille type is a little vertically longer in the middle and the end pieces are a bit narrower than the first release, these would not work for this type.
I believe the change came in AUG. 08 for 09's.

2. Answer - Pics included, also closer shot of the passenger side insert.

3. Answer - The inserts will go in the Honeycomb and will be secure with tie wraps, I will include plenty of tie wraps too.
I removed my grille assembly to make it easier and added extra tie wrap points, I made some small drill points on the solid parts of the Honeycomb.
My install time was about an 1/1.5 hour, I took my time to do it clean.

 

The grill will def fit an 08, I have the same grill on my 08. And I agree with the suggestion to take the grill shell out of the truck for a clean install. Speaking of installs, what is the install time on the intake spacer and will this work with the stock Nissan intake?

The install is very basic, yes it will work with stock intake.
It will be installed between Throttle Body and Intake Manifold Plenum (I think
that is the correct term).
Install time should be 15 minutes at most, it's only 4 bolts to remove,
separate the TB from Plenum and slip in between.
I have an extra set of bolts included, I prefer the Allen Head Stainlees Steel.
The original Hex bolts will be included too, in case you haven't Allen Wrenches.
