I installed a curt hitch yesterday and the bolt holes were almost perfectly lined up with my trucks frame but not quite. One bolt almost didn’t make it in but I got it to go after convincing the holes to line up by pushing really hard on the hitch. It was really close though. I say all this to say I think that’s why the hitch is skewed a bit (I included the ball mount in the photo because it shows the skew better).
