Hey man, mine just did the same thing....I didn't know why...anyway I was at a stop light and I pressed it and held it in for a few seconds and let go and it turn on...don't know if it was stuck or something but it's off now, I was worried for a minute, keep fiddling with it.

My VDC went off after I replaced my battery as well but was on the next time I took it for a drive.... maybe doing a ECU reset by unplugging your new battery for ~10 minutes might work

Back when I was fiddling with my truck trying to identify my bad ground, there was a lot of disconnecting and reconnecting of my battery, very often my VDC light came on for quite a while after reconnecting the battery, eventually it would just turn off.

I think it takes a while for VDC to calibrate after it's lost power to the VDC system.

Thanks Guys ,

Might have been a hasty post as I was rushing out to do some family visiting , seems as though it turns it self back on after driving for a couple hundred meters.
