I'm looking at buying the Valley class 3 trailer hitch and was lookin for any insite to the brand. I like the way it looks. Anyone have pros/cons about Valley??

I have heard that a lot of different brands come from the same factory. I bought a Uhaul from a local dealer. It retails for about $124. I got it at cost because I know the guy ($105). It bolts right up in less than 15 minutes

I just bought a Class 3 Curt Hitch #13842 for $162 + no shipping costs from Trends Auto eBay Stores - TRENDS AUTOMOTIVE, HITCHES, COLD AIR REPLACEMENT FILTERS items on eBay.com

I bought it on eBay and it was an exact fit. With someone to help it takes 10 minutes to install.

I don't have a 1st gen, however, I have a Valley hitch on my 2nd Gen.

Have used it several times. Works every time.

I have a Valley hitch on my Santa Fe. Used it for about 3 years of pulling my jetskis without issue. The only downside I can say about it is it seems to be rusting pretty-bad. I've had it on there since about 2006. I guess the rubbing form chains probably wore down the paint and gave rust a place to start.

Since I live by the coast, looks like Valley might be out. I'll look in to U-Haul.

I purchased a Valley for my wife's Honda Element a couple of years ago and it is virtually the same quality as the U Haul one I got for my Frontier. Thus, for the difference in pricing, I would recommend U Haul over Valley.
