got to ure for the day on saturday. not that crowded at all. had a great time and truck was working well. i probably should have stayed out of the mud. was dropping crap off the truck the whole way home.

good seeing everyone and meeting a few new people!

37 was the smallest in my group, but we saw several on the same trails with smaller tires.

We were lucky enough to find some brand new Goodyear Wrangler MTR's even though they are discontinued. We found one guy that had 2, and another guy an hour away had 2..so we made some trips last night. Got a good deal on both sets. Now just trying to find some 17" rims to go with them and get em mounted by Friday before Moab :mrgreen:

5.13s with a 4:1 in the case. coming out of the mud i had all the power i needed. those were 2nd gear blast up that hill out of the mud.

the iroks are light tires 80-90lbs each and aluminum rims help.

how long have you had the iroks? i have heard they are pretty good tires, just they loose chunks pretty easily on the rocks and don't last very long overall.

He just got them a short while ago, posted a thread in the 1st gen section a week or so ago. And if they chunk easily and don't last long I don't know that i'd listen to those that said they are pretty good tires :wink:

the Xterrains I have had have chuncked worse than any other tires i have had. worse than the mt/r's for sure. hopefully the iroks will do a little better. they are a different stickier compound and bias ply. we'll see.
