I am getting a creaking noise which sounds like it is coming from my vents or widshield, or under the dash... I can't locate it. Mostly noticeable on the highway. Sounds like rubber on glass. It is brand new 2015, I am hoping the noise will just got away eventually. Anyone else experience this?

Some of us had a squeak it turned out to be the hood latch, the loop was rubbing on the latch. If you're driving and hear it pull the hood release and see if the sound stops, I added some white grease and it never made a sound again.

Wow, I had the same thing on my 2007 Xterra. Drove me nuts until they fixed it.

OP, I assume your 2015 truck is still under warranty. If you can't figure it out then Nissan should cover a fix via warranty.

Next thought is some have had the seat creak at the mounts, loosen the bolts to remove the load and retorque the bolts. Since the sound is down low you may think it's from elsewhere.

I thought about going back to Nissan. Problem is they are an hour away, and the sound isn't always there, it seems to come later on in right. I'll have to nail parameters down a bit. But if I can't give a 100% repro scenario, they will just brush me off. If I can't figure it out, I'll be going to Nissan.

I'll look into hood latch and seat bolts. At one time I thought it was coming from keys rubbing, so I have a feeling it could be hood latch.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Edit: haven't heard the noise recently. Carrying a can of white grease in case it does come up. Maybe in the fall during colder weather it will come back, or maybe it is gone for good.
