I'm sure this has been covered, but I cant find it...Does anyone have a diagram of how to wire multiple 1ft led strips together and run them off one switch? I found a really good deal on a pack of light strips from a rainforest in south america but im not too sure how to get them all connected the right way.

Right now the plan is 2 for the front footwells, 2 lighting up the rear floor somehow, and maybe one under each front seat or the side of the console facing under each seat? I've got 20 1ft strips to play with LOL

EDIT: I don't necessarily need a diagram, I just need to know if I should wire them as a daisy chain or in parallel.

Either way should work actually-- most of the time, those lights are designed to be chained together from one end to the other. Can you post a picture of each end of your lights?

Meant to reply to this earlier, working retail on a day like today...I got sidetracked, heh. I ran into the same issue you did, I have those same strips (6 total, one in each door pocket and one under each side of the dash) all on one switch, has to run parallel...but glad you figured it out. Got any pictures?

While I would hate to pull all the door panels off, one of the neatest light mods I've seen was to drill a hole in the bottom of the door itself and wire an LED into the door switch so that when you opened your door the light shone out from under the door to light of the area you would be stepping into as you get out of the car...

Removal of the panels is a breeze, when I put them in the pockets I had the panel off, LED strip epoxied in place and reattached the panel all within about 10-15 minutes per door... What took the longest...about half of that time, was running the wiring through the door grommet so I wouldn't see any exposed wires.

Edit: One other thing I forgot to mention, I also installed a relay switch to the ground of the LED strips. While completely optional...I did want the option to dim the LEDs with the dimmer on the dash lights. Basically I set it up so that when the lights are off the LEDs are on full power (basic ground), but if the dash lights are on it switches the ground to the adjustable line from the dimmer ground on the radio or the or the gear selector (either will work). Just have to use a SPDT relay.
