I'm wondering if it's safe to load two bikes in the bed?

The bikes weigh on average 350 ea., total 700lbs. There will also be gear, tools, 50lb pit bike and a cooler/ez-up.

I looked in the manual and couldn't find anything specific for bed weight. The front wheels will be over the rear axle.

Thanks!

I think the recommended bed weight is around 1000 lbs. I wouldn't be worried about the weight, i'd be worried about getting the bikes in and out safely without damaging them and being able to secure them well. Honestly I wouldn't hesitate to put 2 dirt bikes in the back but I probably wouldn't put 2 street bikes.

This is the info I was looking for. This will be two sport bikes, estimated weight of 350lbs each. It looks like someone else did this in the linked thread.

Sorry I don't have a picture but I put my Honda 450R and my buddy's Honda 250R side by side in the back of my 2007 KC Nismo 4x4 with the utilitrac system with no problems. No weight issues, no bottoming-out, no lack of power, no unsecure issues either!! Make sure you use at least two each as that is what I did. Don't know if you're looking for off-road or sport bikes or what but I hope that helps.
