I'm looking for some truck gun ideas for my 2016 Frontier crew cab (with sub-woofer under the back seat.)

Not so much interested in the guns themselves, as I have a few that would fit the bill nicely, but rather where/how you stow them.

Rear window racks and roof racks are pretty much out of the question for me. Something out of sight, but still easily accessible would be best, but not a deal breaker.

The guns are all fairly short, with the longest being an 18" 870, and the shortest being a Fabarm 11" shotgun.

No pistols please. I'm in the liberal nanny state of Canada.
Contrary to what many seem to think, we actually can own pistols up here, and I do own a couple just because, but there ain't much point. They're heavily regulated and you can't really do piss all with them.

So let's see how you pack them rifles/carbines and shotguns!

There is a long thread in Off Topics all about Guns. I think there was a short spree of mounting options detailed in there - though it was for pistols. I would think for out of sight and easy access on a shotty - some kind of seat cover with a built in gun pocket in the back would work well for what you're asking.

Unless it has a flashlight or other rail accessory mounted off one side of the foregrip, an AR-style rifle (M4gery, AR pistol, etc.) will fit behind the back seats while they're latched.

Biggest disadvantage is that folding down the back seats is too easy for a thief to do - Ideally, you'd relocate the seat latch release pulls so that they were accessed from some other, non-obvious location. Or, if you wanted to get fancy, you could probably install power door lock actuators to operate them.

Thanks.

I checked out a couple of the older threads and didn't really see anything I was crazy about (with the exception of the floor mounted vertical rifle rack. Very cool.)

Just wanted to see if anyone has come up with anything new and exciting since then.

I actually do have some fancy new front seat covers with pouches on the back. Was thinking of stuffing the 10/22 takedown or Rossi Ranch Hand in there, but I worry about the durability of the seat covers/pouches with any kind of weight bouncing around in there.

Thanks. I sold my AR last year because they're classified as "restricted" just like pistols up here, but I will try it with my 9mm carbine.

If you have a KC I've been toying with the idea of a DA backpacker or Stoeger coach gun in the little compartment where the jack is. Somewhat easy access and it satisfies the transport and storage laws up here.
