High-flow or even eliminating the secondary converters won't be an issue, as it is not monitored. I eliminated my secondary converters with Doug Thorley mid-pipes and have no code issues. Now, if the upstream converters were gutted or eliminated, that would be an issue. It wouldn't hurt to do an exhaust back-pressure test, screwing into the upstream air/fuel ratio sensor bungs, to see if one of the upstream converters is restricted.
When replacing one or both of the air/fuel ratio sensors, make sure to stick with genuine Nissan, NTK or Denso sensors and if there is a stored code for them (like P1278), you need to erase the self-learning memory from the ECM or the codes will re-trigger.
