So yesterday my heater hose had a small coolant leak so I decided to replace the hose. The small plastic adapter broke off so I just connected the hose straight to the heater cool into the firewall. Then I went for a test drive. Everything went well. Came home popped the hood to check the hose. Moved the top hose that was connected to the three way adapter on the outlet heater house and that plastic part snapped off the top and fluid shot out all over. Now I have to replace the whole part because it looks like the adapter is molded on the tube itself. Anyone replaced this? It looks easy but then again I don't want to have my truck towed to the dealership to have them replace it for a ridiculous amount of money.
