I recently bought a 2004 Nissan Frontier 4*4 3.3liter. I am having a few issues with the transmission, front suspensions and filling the gas tank.

The truck will randomly change gears while driving on a flat road going around 35-40 mph. I have changed both the fluid and filter, adding some trans tune and double checking that the fluid at the right level. Is this a solenoid, computer or something else that could cause this?

While working on the front suspension I have changed the shocks and the idler arm but the truck still will easily bottom out when going over a bump at minimum speed. What could cause this?

The last thing at the moment is I think the gas tank vent. To fill the tank with gas I must pump the gas very slow or it will automatically stop the pump. I think it has to do with the air vent. I found one on the gas tank but not on the gas fill line like I thought it would be. Do I have to remove the gas tank to clean the vent?

Thanks for your help.
