I have an 08 auto with just less than 17,000 miles. I have owned it 29 months. I am trying to figure out when the transmission fluid should be changed. The maintenance guide isn't very clear. Does anyone know or have a recommendation?

I pretty much only drive back and forth to work in the truck. I occasionally take on short trips.

another thing you could do instead of a full flush at 30k is drain and fills every 10k to 15k. it doesn't get all the old fluid out, a little under half each time, but thats another option to think about too depending on preference

It is about 5 miles to work each way. My old Hardbody was 10 years old and had 90000 on it when I sold it. I don't get out much lol!
