Trans Service at 203k miles

I know that the transmission fluid change has been discussed before, and there are some good tutorials on the drain and fill and the poor mans flush methods. Here is my question. I bought my 2006 crew cab nismo with 123k. I have no idea if it was ever serviced. Now I'm at 203k. Never having serviced it myself, what is the best course of action. Let her be? Get a flush at a shop? Drain and fill? I have noticed that it is hesitating and possibly slipping when I put the pedal to the floor to pass on the freeway. What should I do?

I did my 1st tranny service at 200k. I did a 3 qt drain and fill and I now do a 3 qt drain and fill every time I change the oil. I'm almost at 270k now so I've done about 10 drain and fills (I go between 5 and 7.5k for oil changes). Over the last 3 or 4 changes I've used a bottle of Lucas Oil Trans Fix along with the tranny fluid.
The fluid is now a nice cherry red when I change it. I don't ever really stomp on it any more so I'm hoping I can get another 100k out of the motor and tranny before finally looking at a new (to me) vehicle.
I would "ease in to it" as well. The issue comes up with a full on flush. The theory is all the new fluid with it's fresh detergents knock any "gunk" loose inside the transmission allowing it to flow around and jam up passages and that causes issues. Pulling a few quarts and adding back in fresh every so often is a better idea as far as I am concerned.
