I planned on driving my '07 Nismo (4X4 6M) for a very long time, but the king cab just became impractical. We have a baby and nobody can safely sit in front of today's massive car seats. So having owned the truck a total of 28 months and racking up only 14k miles, I traded for a 2010 PRO-4X. My Nismo was very basic and this new truck is a total Caddy. I wish it wasn't so heavy and I hated trading bed length for cab space, but it's an awesome ride--I really love it.

EDIT:My first mod was to install the Nismo CAI that I kept from my Nismo. Then I ditched the BFGs for some Dueler A/Ts (same 265/75 as stock). Most recently, I installed a hitch, the Nissan trailer wiring, body side moldings, and hood protector. I also got the Nissan all weather floor mats.

I just need to have the front windows tinted, and I plan on applying 3m Scotchgard 8 mil film from the BSMs down to prevent rock chips; especially on that painted steel back bumper. I'll probably do the headlights and foglights too. Maybe yellow tinted film for the fogs... Anybody here done that?

Thank you! I am a loyal Nissan customer, but I did research Tacomas, only because I am a comparison shopper. There just isn't a better deal going than the Frontier.

It's funny how all of the Frontier vs. Tacoma comparisons I've read seem to go exactly the same: Frontier has more power, higher payload, costs less, handles better, etc. but when it's all over the Tacoma always wins because of it's "carlike interior and carlike ride" LOL!

Thanks! I searched every dealership within 200 miles for two weeks and couldn't find one with a sunroof in Night Armor. I got up one Saturday and saw this baby in Nashville. I drove down to look at it and none of the salesmen knew what I was talking about. It was still parked in the back lot with plastic all over it and 3 miles on the clock. I decided to buy it about 20 seconds later...:)

It had rolled off the assembly line about 48 hours before I looked at it! Smyrna is only about 34 miles from the dealer I bought from.

It looks good, but I think those wheels would look better on MY Nismo:)

Thanks, guys.

It looks good, but I think those wheels would look better on MY Nismo:)
Yeah, I bet! The machined rims were actually a big factor in my decision to buy. And boy are they expensive. The tire shop that mounted my Duelers had to replace one after they damaged it.

yea looks good. But I envy the fazoli's in the background! man I miss those bread sticks!!
Wow, good eye. You MUST love Fazoli's. The food there is just too high in sodium for my taste.

Definitely do it. My Nismo climbed some slopes that I literally couldn't walk up. I was beyond impressed.

Wow, that Nismo was brand new! Good luck with the new ride.
No kidding. That truck was barely broken in. I have forgotten what it was like to put real miles on a vehicle, LOL! Now, I live six miles from work and I have a third vehicle to rotate in.

The low mileage was probably the reason I got to decide the trade-in price when it came time to sell. When they accepted my initial price I almost felt like I started too low...

I have yellow film on my fog lights ... looks good =)
Cool. Thank you. I haven't found a kit specifically for the '10 PRO-4X, but I figure if i buy a kit for the huge fogs on a WRX, they will suffice. I just want to make sure it's the 20 mil film.
