and bought a new Titan...

2010 CC 4x4 w/ tow pkg and all the electric goodies. My frontier did well offroad and when I decided to use it to tow it did alright, but I just wanted more room for stuff and more towing capacity. I'll miss the manual transmission but look forward to some mods with the Titan; nothing crazy though, intake/exhaust/wheels/might go to greg for some stuff in the future.

Well the sticker on this was $36K and is loaded w/ the center console shifter (I guess this is like a $1500 option), back up sensors, power rear glass, blue tooth, everything but leather. They gave me $12,500 for my 25% damaged Frontier (all cosmetic dents, ect), and $6000 in rebates. I bought extended coverage and some other doo-dads so I payed $24,000 out the door.

Nice truck, I had the LE a few years back. Why no tow mirrors if it has the tow package?
I never liked the tow (bifocal)mirrors and actually prefer the ones you have.

Right on, good trade-in! You'll have fun, but might kick yourself in a few years fr not getting the newer Titan that will soon grace us with it's presence...

Yeah, Im moving (towing the pathfinder to Arkansas) so I wanted/needed a good tow rig now; it just has all the wiring/hitch for towing, and im glad it doesn't have the big mirrors either. I can see behind me fine with the type of trailer I use anyways, even with the relatively small frontier mirrors. Im also pleased that my brake controller that I used with the Frontier has the same wire harness so it should plug right in.

Yeah it was kind of a spur of the moment thing; I went in curious about Titans they gave me a good deal so I took it. Otherwise I would have taken my time and parted out the frontier (woulda been a lot of work though). I'll miss wheelin' with you and the rest of the NOAS gang too Mike.

Well the truck has a tow package but it is not the "Big Tow Package" It accutually has a lower gear ratio than the Big Tow. Both my Titans had the 3.36 gears and to tell the diffrence that truck has the 2.93 gears. Also the big tow has a tranny cooler. Just check on the the driver door it should tell you if you have the packsge. The bifocal mirrors have better preformance.
