I've an '05. I put the spare into service, which has no TPMS, but it didn't trip on the dash warning light. What the *bleep* I thought it would turn on the light, but no. The dash light definitely is working, so it's not as if the bulb is burnt out. I'm flummoxed as this makes no sense Anyone else experienced this? The tires have to rotate in order for the computer to get a reading...right?

No. As long as the wheel you took off is mounted to the vehicle and the pressure inside it is okay, the light should stay off. Make sure the TPMS warning light illuminates when you turn the key "on" and the bulb check is performed. This will let you know that the bulb is working for the TPMS light. I've known some that don't want to deal with replacing the sensors and remove the bulb from the cluster, which, legally, should not be done. People so what people do!
