TPMS and seasonal swap

So I bought some Cooper Zeon LTZ's thinking they'd make a good year round tire, and boy was I wrong! These things suck in the snow! Anyway, my plan is to run snows next season on the stock wheels. Question is, I can deal with the light on in the winter, but will the TPMS restore itself when I swap the summers back on? Just wondering if anyone here is doing two sets of wheels...

As soon as it sees those sensors the light should go off in the summer. If you run two different sets of sensors, youll have to get them reprogrammed every time you switch over.

Thats what I was hoping. I'm not gonna bother with 2 sets of sensors for the reason you mentioned. No interest in making the trip to the dealer at every swap. Does anyone know if the tire rack reset tool actually works?

I'll find out if it does in a week or so. I'll post here if it does or not.
Most tire shops will have the tool to reset or reprogram, i know my shop does.

Yeah, rather do it myself though. My truck has yet to go to a shop, except to mount the tires. I like to do my own work if at all possible....

I have the ATEQ TPM Quickset tool for sale if you'd like to buy one and do it yourself:

I'll sell it for half of what I paid. I used it today and it worked for me.
