Gentlemen I don't post to much since I had my NISMO rebuilt after the accident & frame replacment (by the way everything is still good) by I am on holiday on my Goldwing motorcycle in the Florida Keys (rode in from Chi-Town) & I passed a crew cab Frontier 05 to 07...don't know for sure.... that was towing a very very very huge boat. I didn't have time to take a picture ( on the motorcycle) but if he is on this board I applaud him. That was a big tow job. This boat looked like it belong behind a 1 ton & the Frontier was moving it along very nicely.

Another example of how good this v6 & drive train can really be if needed.

At any rate it is time for some seafood & some cocktails.:goodjob:

My contractor has a 04 CC and was telling me he saw some one towing a huge race boat with trip outboards the other day. I will be towing my 23 foot walk around soon and hope it goes well. Scotty.

Boats don't really weight a lot for the volume of air they take up.

Take a real close look at the compact/mid sized vehicles towing U-Haul trailers. Those things are packed to the gills and usually weight more than you average boat does.

I towed a 6000lb u-haul from Sea-Indy, and Indy-Sea, and did fine. I've also towed a few boat out of the harbor and it really is a lot easier than you would imagine.

The AVERAGE 24' powerboat weighs in at around 5000lbs. And a sailboat of the same length is a mere 4000lbs.

Thanks for the weight information. Good to know but I wish I had been in a situation I could have taken a picture. My first thought was it was a Titan until I got close. My buddy whom I was riding with & his wife tow a fifth wheel with his 3/4 ton Silverado was surprised as well. Tomorrow we are riding to Key West so maybe I will see him again. Have a good night.

I also have to worry about these things called hills here in Taxachusettes. The two years I spent shrimping and scuba diving in FL I don't recall too many steep grades, well there were a couple of bumps around ocala.
