to save yourself from stress i would just find a buddy who had a fullsize v8 truck that will pull that trailer much easier.
I have a F250 powerstroke I pull my goosneck cattle trailer with, pulling power is no problem, my g/f just doesnt really like driving the big truck around and it is alot of overkill, but I was just trying to get the specs to kick it around a bit, thanks for the link to the free manual

while the powerstroke is probably overkill, but realistically, a 4 cyl frontier is good for a PWC, ATV, or a small boat. The truck isn't really ideal for regular towing.

ha yeah i guess i understand that. just remember its a 4 cylinder it aint gonna pull too much, you should of gotten a v6, they can tow up to 5000 lb. if i remember the 4 cylinder in both manual and automaic can pull 3000 or 3500 lb. if what yourpulling is 2500 lb. i see no problems towing it, but i would expect the truck to struggle a bit going up hills.
