To all that have put an auto tranny in

I drive a 99 auto 2.4.. i'm trying to get tranny back in, how do I get the dipstick back in? As it goes back up? Seems like if I try this it's holding me off..

Do I need to take egr valve out? I think that's what's stopping me from getting it in after the tranny is installed..

I can't figure it out. Trial and error is getting as I am doing this by myself.. anybody?
