As far as what you want to do (use a longer shock to get more travel), that is basically what the Tundra coilovers do. Trust me I looked for a long time for a shock that was the right size for a T swap, the Tundra shocks are the best fit out there. You can NOT use the factory spring due to a difference in the pig tail end diameter of the spring. You must use a toyota spring or buy the Nissan lower spring perch from Bilstein to use on tundra 5100s (don't recommend this as the factory spring is way to light).
