My Calmini 5 inch with SAW's is on its way. I have sitting in my garage 4 18" XD series addict wheels with the 18 offset. Now i'm just trying to figure out what size tires to run. I'm pretty set on BFG all terrains I have had them before and love them. Should I go with 285/65r18 or 305/65r18? Just wondering about things like how much more trimming and power loss and things like that. Price difference is unimportant thanks!

Personally I would go with the 35s but you will need gears. I will be quite sluggish without them. This is an issue thou is you are 4wd. You will have to do a m205 swap with either a Titan uca/lca swap or find a set of v8 pathy half shafts.

285/65r18 is way to small for a 5" lift.

Maybe i'm mistaken, but I thought a 285/65r18 would be about a 33x11 and a 305/65r18 would be about a 33.5x12 (both are approximations)? I wouldn't think i'd need new gears to run either one, but I could be wrong.
