hey guys, i know there is endless amounts of info on here about this but i can't seem to find anything with the exact same specs.... i have lifted the front of my d40 with a 2in spring and leaving the front stock. i want to know what size tyre i will be able to run? i am currently tossing up between the 265/75/16 and the 285/75/16... any help would be much appreciated. also i don't run mudflaps.... if it makes any difference?

My friend has 3" up front w/ no rubbing.

With 2" you should be all right, but depending on the type of tire you could possibly have some rubbing at full turn.

Be carefull if you trim. If you take a little off you will be fine, but if you go just a hair too far, you'll cut open a hollow wedge that will be really hard to disguise.
