Anybody got any tips? I'm in the middle of installing the titan swap and looking at the nissan service manual it lists a threaded slide hammer and bench vise to seperate, which I have neither at the moment.
Thanks.

any other tips?
iam trying to remove the diff and shafts. and i thought if i separated the UCA and spindle then layed the spindle down the shafts would just slide out of each end. but that did not work.
does the big nut in the center of the brake rotor have to be removed?

it wont just slip out , you'll have to work out of the hub
the diff side ive always just used a pry bar and "popped" the axle shaft out , there is a retainer ring that holds the axle in on the diff side , so you just need to pop it out

Funny. This was one of the questions I was planning on asking in the next few days.
Good timing.

^^searching still helps for the most part. There just isn't a whole lot of front axle threads in general. And most of the Titan swap threads that would/could have axle info don't because it's a 2 wheel drive truck used in the write ups.
