timing chain

Well im finally going to suck it up and change it. My timing chain has been screaming change me for about a month now. I have had the worst luck with them my last motor was the same way (which had almost 200,000 on it when it went bad) but the motor i swapped in about 2 months ago only has about 90,000 on it. Oh well, but i was wondering if anybody has any experience in changing these, anything to look for or just some good tips and advise. 98 4cyl 5 speed 4x4 thanks for all the help. and i do have a haynes repair manual to walk me through it.
