I ordered new Tie rod ends and I finally Receved them. I ordered from 1A Auto Part numbers 1ASTE00578 (2000 Nissan Frontier Tie Rod Driver or Passenger Side Inner at 1A Auto.com ) and 1ASTE00577 ( 2000 Nissan Frontier Tie Rod Outer Driver or Passenger Side at 1A Auto.com ) for my 2000 frontier. so if you look at the website I should be receiving 4 parts and 2 of them should be identical and the other 2 should be identical, from my understanding. but instead I got 4 different rod ends. I looked on my truck and all the rod ends look identical on the truck. so I'm kind of at a stand still now. does anyone know what a 200 Nissan frontier tie rod end really should look like? ill post pics just so you can see the rod ends.

OK - first thing to know about tie rod ends: for each side, there will be one with right-hand threads where the tie rod itself goes, and one with left-hand threads. This is so the effective length of the tie rod can be adjusted by turning the tie rod iself once the locking clamps are loosened. So one of each internal thread for each side of truck (not talking about the thread where the nut is already on, those are all right-hand threads).

It looks like at least one of the ends has a "bent" section for clearance of something, so figure out which needs that and start from there. Get the alignment close and then take it in for professional alignment of toe-in.

I would send them back and then head over to Rockauto.com and get a set of Moog Problem Solver tie rod ends.

Do you have and email address and contact info that you can PM me. I can have one of our tech guys take a look into this for you. We can double check part numbers and stuff like that for you.
