Hey guys im going on tuesday to do my titan swap, using my schools garage to do it. ive read shinjaris thing a hundred times but could someone shed light on how to install the tie rod extensions. i assum just screw them on but what is the little nut that i got with them for?

dumb question but want to make sure i know it before as to make the install as quick and painless as possible

The nut is a jam nut. When you install them, break the jum nut loose that is already on the tie rod. Unscrew the tie-rod end, but leave the nut. Screw on the extension piece and tighten the jam nut against it. Next, thread the new nut onto the extension, and screw the stock tie-rod end back on. Finally, tighten the new nut up against the tie-rod end and done.
