Throttlte Body Spacers on 05+

Do throttle body spacers really work to improve performance for the 2005+ model? I am skeptical that a spacer can produce a vortex effective enough to make a difference. Just curious if anyone had tried them.

I had tried one in the past, to me it didnt work. On the dyno it didnt show any gains, so in my experience it did not work!
It does not work.. Dont waste your money. It's a great idea for carbed engines and TBI injected engines that actually benefit from the swirling air, but your engine will restrict the intake, not help it.
My understanding is that the purpose of a TB spacer is to reduce the intake air temperature... :?:

True but they are also grooved in a spiralling fashion to creat a vortex effect which supposedly increases the airflow.

As was previously said, a waste of money.
