3" Body lift is coming out in the new few weeks from AC made by performance accessories. I had a body lift on my old truck and I never had any problems but I wanted to know what y'all think about them. I always heard they were bad for fourwheelin but I had no problems. Let me know.

If I remember from what I've read, with the 3" lift extensions were needed (at least on the older trucks) but not really needed with a 2". I wonder is this is true for us (05+) too. Either way, I'd be interested.

I had an '86 that I lifted 2" with the AAL and torsion bar tweak. But I never wanted to do a body lift, just suspension lift.

Now that I have a KC '05 LE, I need to do a suspension lift of about 2"-3". I don't like body lifts. They don't offer the added suspension needed for larger tires. They also screw up the center of gravity more than a suspension lift.

I went to the local 4 Wheel Parts store and the manager said there will be a big release of after market parts in February. It looks like I will have to wait until then to see what comes around.

i think i'll stick w/ the suspention lift. i'll just get prerunner fiberglass fenders then i can put bigger tires.
