Been looking for one since December of 2009, and took delivery on July 7. The reason it took so long is that I did not want to spend alot of money on a daily driver / work truck. However, driving it for almost three weeks I'm very impressed with it. Test drove a few before the purchase but after test driving the last one (manual) I had to buy it. If they bring the TDI version then I'll buy a new one.

Its an 06 SE CC 4X4. Wish it had a sunroof or the Nismo package but that's what modding is for. Really like the Carmine because its different.

So far I added chrome mirrors, handles, and debadged the SE and dealer sticker. Lots more to come!

Thanks for the welcome guys. :)

The Passat has been with me since 03. Every year I modded it slowly. Last year I installed that front spoiler and its barely drivable without swearing. The truck is much nicer for city driving. Used to drive to the mountains with the dog almost every weekend but now I just work after losing his 2 years ago. Put only 4000km / year on the car last year. This year will be even less. I have the remainder of the kit to get painted / installed but I don't see that happening as I'm eager to get the Frontier modded.

Its funny as I was trying to justify a Touareg over the Frontier, but now I'm happy with my decision (partly why it took so long to buy a car).

yea, driving a lowered car is a pain in the ***. aside from worring about scraping, you have to worry about the rims too.
